Reweaving Nature, Culture & Capital for Regenerative Futures
Reweaver is a strategic studio working at the intersection of biodiversity, culture, and capital. We help funders, partnerships, and place-based organisations design and resource initiatives that make nature and culture visible, fundable, and locally governed.
Founded in South Africa. Designed for the world. Rooted in place
The challenge
Nature finance needs better pipelines,
and biodiversity needs better stories
Funders and investors, increasingly seek credible nature, climate, and community opportunities. Yet many of the world's most extraordinary landscapes — rich in biodiversity, cultural memory, and regenerative potential — remain invisible to capital, and disconnected from the public audiences that could celebrate and support them.
Too often, conservation is technically strong but culturally thin; tourism generates value without local ownership; biodiversity is framed around loss instead of wonder; and the communities closest to landscapes are excluded from decision-making and benefit.
Reweaver exists to help change this.
What we do
We make nature, culture, & place visible, fundable, and locally governed
Reweaver works across three connected modes, moving between strategy, activation, and landscape origination depending on what a context needs.
Advisory Services
Strategy, proposal development, finance design, narrative, and facilitation for funders, NGOs, conservation organisations, partnerships, and aligned businesses.
Partnership Activation
Designing and activating regional, partnership-scale initiatives that mobilise visibility, audiences, and finance for biodiversity and culture — bridging conservation, creative economy, tourism, and private sector partnership.
Living Landscape Origination
Incubating community-rooted landscape opportunities where biodiversity, heritage, regenerative tourism, and nature finance meet — preparing them as coherent opportunities for catalytic capital and long-term stewardship.
Across all three modes, the goal is the same: to reweave nature, story, and finance into regenerative futures.
Selected Work
Where the method is being applied
Reweaver's current work spans regional partnership activation and a South African living landscapes portfolio — each piece a place to test, refine, and scale the model.
Genadendal Living Landscape
Heritage, fynbos biodiversity, and regenerative tourism in one of South Africa's most significant mission settlements.
Mpondoland Biocultural Coast
Living culture, coastal biodiversity, and community-rooted stewardship on South Africa's Wild Coast.
Venda Sacred Natural Sites & Water Landscapes
Indigenous governance, sacred ecology, and water security for climate-resilient futures.
Build the next generation of nature, culture, and capital partnerships
Reweaver is seeking catalytic partners, funders, and collaborators who want to help shape new models for how biodiversity and culture are valued, celebrated, and resourced.
